----General Information----

----Appearance----

Noako is a young-looking, fair skinned woman with light grey eyes and peach colored hair. She styles her hair in a side bun which she carries over her right shoulder. The bun it held together with her purple ribbon, which is also her mark trait. She had received it from her grandfather. Across her forehead goes a braid that begins somewhere under her side fringe, goes over single hair strands and ends over her left ear, attached with a round golden clip. On her right cheek is a scar that she has from a hollow attack. Since Yumichika once said that the scar is ugly Noako wears a white patch over it.
Noako wears the standard Shinigami uniform; except that her hakama is cut out so that it looks like a short skirt. In the human world she first wears the normal school uniform, then later one see her wearing jeans shorts, an white-orange streaked t-shirt and over it a baggy jacket. To that she wears normal boots.

----History----

Noako was born in the 67th district in the west of the Rukongai. She lived there with an older man that she called her grandfather. Actually, Noako‘s name was Naeko.
In contrast to her present personality Naeko was the nightmare of everyone in the village. She was a horrible rowdy that caused many trouble. She was cruel, manner less and reckless. She was known as „bone-breaker“; She menaced other children, even adults sometimes, she required money, food etc. from them. When they didn’t want to, Naeko knocked them to the ground and even went that far to break them an arm or a leg. Sometimes she did this even when someone just looked at her in a strange way. She really enjoyed it. One time a mother of a child she just beated until he passed out asked her why she does this. She replied saying that she simply loved the sound it makes when she steps on one of their bones. Cleary, everyone hated her and feared her. But she didn’t care. She always thought that she doesn’t need them or anyone and that she could take care of herself.
Although all that, Naeko loved her„ grandfather“ over everything. She adored him very much and when she came back home she always became a lovely child. Even when her grandfather had heard of the stories of his granddaughter, he didn’t mind. He didn’t do anything. He couldn’t. He was very sick and could barely stand by himself. To Naeko, however, he showed all his love and never yelled or beat her. He simply didn’t have the power to do so. He was the only one that did this in the village, so Naeko was sure that as long as her grandfather is around she would need no one.
One day, the 9th division was sent there, because there were detected some hollow strange activities in this area. As Naeko was running home she ran into the new captain of the 9th division, Kaname Tosen. Rude as she was she pushed him aside, insulted him and ran away. The village people saw this and told them Shinigamis about her and that they shouldn’t mind. At the late evening, Naeko walk around the forest. She always did this, because at this time there was no one out there. But that there it was different; on a climb, next to a big tree, there was Tosen sitting. She came at him, saying that he was sitting at HER place, menaced him, but he didn’t move. She was now a bit intimated, because never before someone rested that calm when she was around. When she realized that he was blind, she laughed at him and called him a „cripple“. Now she felt better. But Tosen told her to go because she was annoying. When she said that he couldn’t call her that because he didn’t even know her, Tosen replied the he knew exactly who she was. She was that girl that ran into him. Naeko asked him how he knew this since he was blind. He said that he could felt her Reiatsu. Now she was confused. Tosen said with a Reiatsu like that she could become a good shinigami. But this could never happen, because people like her don’t have the right to fight for the justice. She asked him how he knew who she was. Tosen told her what then what the people said. When he finished Naeko said stubborn that she doesn’t see the problem and that she does what she want. Tosen then stand up. He looked to the sky and then said to her she should be friendlier to the others because she never knows when she will need them. Her behavior will have consequences. And when she realizes it, it will be too late and she will stand alone, with no one to help her out. Naeko then replied angry that she doesn’t need anyone. He said that she should think about it. Then he walked away. Naeko asked him where he is going. He just replied that he doesn’t want to deal with a brut like her anymore. Then he disappeared into the night.
Time passed by since that talk. Naeko was still a reckless brat. But then, one day everything changed. The day her grandfather decided that he was strong enough to sit on the terrace. He was wrong. He collapsed, having a heart attack. The people quick ran to him to help. That day Naeko was walking around, when she saw the crowd around her house. Then she heard people saying that her grandfather has a heart attack and that he needs a doctor. She saw her grandfather on the ground and screamed. Panicky she ran to him. But when the people saw her, they suddenly remembered everything she did. Then, they let her grandfather fall to the ground. They then slowly walked away. He was responsible for that monster. Naeko saw how they walked away, she held her grandfather, she cried, screamed for help, but everyone ignored her. There was when she realized that her grandfather was dying but no one would come.
Only now Naeko realized that she WAS alone now. No friend, no family. No one she could talk to. When she appreciated the other children they ran away. Nobody talked to her. They hated her. She now felt lonely and helpless. She knew it was her fault her grandfather had to die and she regretted it deeply what she did. She was broken. She spent weeks locked in her house, thinking. She decided to change.
A year went by since anyone had seen Naeko. People said that she had imprisoned herself in the house and hadn’t come out yet. Other Rumors said that she had died or that she was eaten by a hollow. They wear just talking about it when suddenly, the house door slowly opened.
Naeko came out. But she was different; her hair was longer, she looked older and she had a determinate look. On her back was a big bag. During that whole year, she was in her house thinking and training. She remembered what Tosen said to her. She had a strong Reiatsu. So she saw this as a second chance to start new. She would become a shinigami.
She left without looking at the people and walk out of the village.

Now she was visiting the Shin'ō Academy. But now she had changed her name to Noako Tachibana. She wanted to forget her past and leave everything behind her. She started again.
At the Academy she met Hisagi Shuuhei. They wear accepted class mates. They then became good friends. She also met Kira, Hinamori and Renji.
When she graduated, she was sent, along with Renji, to the 11th division, but when she saw that this company reminded her of her past, she demanded to change.
She decided to change to the 9th division, just because she wanted to see Tosen. She first wanted to keep it secret that they met once, but he had recognized her Reiatsu. So she wanted to thank him for what he did for her even if Tosen insisted that he didn’t do anything and just did what he thought was right. After some time she became 3th seat in the Division.

----Personality----

Noako is a nice and reasonable person who shows much loyalty and respect. She’s impulsive and always thinks before she acts. She talks calm and relaxed. She sees her captain Tosen as a great person and as her ‘life saver’. Noako doesn’t mind taking reasonability for others. She does what higher ranks say to do, which was the reason she first fought against Ichigo and his friends while the Soul Society arc. In general she is strict towards her enemies.

She often tries to make people comfortable around her, so that they will like her, because actually Noako is a very insecure person. Back in her past, the people in her village left her alone cause of her actions. She was a long time alone and learned the hard way that she has to be nice to be loved. She sees this as a traumatizing event.
She always tries to please everybody and really cares a lot about her reputation. She doesn’t want to make people mad at her or to talk bad about her. She can get anxious about little things people say. When people even make a little negative remark on her she sees it as a ‘fault’ and fix it so that person can like her. For example when Yumichika said her scar was ugly, she covered it with a patch. Even though she tries, Noako knows that she can’t please everyone; she still wants people to only think good about her.
She absolutely hates her past and who she was and sees it as really embarrassing; therefore she tries everything to distract from her past, so that people won’t ask much. She even went so far to change her name from Naeko to Noako.

As I said before, in battle she is serious and cold. Toward enemies she goes strict. Normally she tries to fight as few as possible, because even if she has nothing against fighting, she doesn’t want to show that she actually enjoys fighting, which is still a trace of her former self. But desperate this, Noako is a strong shinigami who especially won’t show pity if her enemies are really horrible persons.
Noako is a very affectionate person. She always wants people around her and is very loving. She can fall in love easily. Therefore, she a huge crush on Hisagi. She is extremely jealous person and hates if people ignore her. So she envies Rangiku when Hisagi shows affection toward her, even though they are friends.

Zanjutsu master: Noako is really skilled with her sword. She learned to perfectly fight with her Zanpakuto in his sealed form and can easily control her moves. Despite she is a 3.offcier she is known to be on a high level. This is so because she decided to focus on her Zanjutsu and develop it. Her fighting style is known as powerful but still her movement looks almost elegant. She swings her sword really easy so that it almost looks like she’s dancing. Therefore, she has the nickname “Sword dancer (ソードダンサー, Sōdodansā). Despite all this, she can’t develop her Bankai cause of Hakucho Tessen’s split personality which makes the training very difficult.


Hakuda expert: Also, Noako is shown to be quiet skilled in unarmed combat, but mostly in kicking, which is her favorite domain.

• Panchira Torunēdo; while fighting with her sword she likes to use this technic.

Others

• Flexibility: She is a very flexible person. Cause of this, she wears a short Hakama so it won’t bother.

• Spiritual pressure: Her spiritual pressure is at a normal to high rank. It has the color violet.

• Enhanced Endurance: Noako can endure a high amount of pain, as shown when Tosen injures her really dangerously on the right shoulder with his hollow powers, but she still could fight.

Weaknesses

Shunpo: Noako’s shunpo isn’t developed, while she can do the quiet basic, but not more.


Kido: Her Kido is at an average, while she only uses Bakudo to tie up her enemies as support in her battles. She also still needs to recite the entire spell.

• Hyapporankan; She mostly use this spell in combination with her Shikai’s special attack.

Others

• Average intelligence: Despite not being completely dumb, she can’t think of a good strategy or maneuver. So, she won’t take action by herself but rater takes commands from high ranks.

----Zanpakuto----

Name: Hakucho Tessen ( Swan Ironfan)

Spirit:

Appearance: Hakucho Tessen’s spirit is a tall, pretty woman with long straight purple hair, pale skin and orange eyes. The upper part of her dress is figurhugging, white and strapless and is cut out on the navelpart. The under part of her dress resembles to two wings of a swan: they are long and fall to the ground. They leave a space between them, so that you can see Hakucho Tessen’s legs. Also, she wears ballerina pointe shoes; she always walks on her toes like a ballerina. She wears a white feather boa around one shoulder. She has white long gloves that resembles to her dress and has a crown. Around her floats a light blue ribbon. She always carries a fan with her.

Personality: On the first look Hakucho Tessen seem to be a calm personality, just like her mistress. She has manners and speaks calm. But this is not true. The Zanpakutos show the soul of their masters. Since Noako is always trying to retrain her “evil” side, this affected Hakucho Tessen; she has a split personality. From one moment to the other she can change mentally from calm and polite to a loud, furious woman who loves to smash, kill and scream and loves blood and battles. But she herself doesn’t notice this at all. So always when someone points that out, she has no idea what they are talking about.

Sealed: When sealed, Noako’s sword looks like a normal katana. The sheath is dark purple and the handle is blue. The tsuba is rectangulair. She carries her sword usually on her left hip.

Shikai:

Command: „Anata no tsubasa o hiroge! “ ( eng. Spread your wings!, dt. Spreize deine Flügel! , fr. Dépoile tes ailes!)

Appearance: When Noako releases her sword she first points it against the sky while saying the command, then she throws it in the air where it transforms into two iron hand fans that she catches. On each one is a blue ribbon. They look identical, except for the handles; the left fan‘s is white, the right fan’s is dark violet.

---Abilities

Shikai Special ability: Hakucho Tessen has a special technique rarely used known as:

• Hone no hakai(骨の破壊, Destruction of bone): On this attack, Noako’s ironfans become shiny white. Then, she spread her arms.( in this position it almost reminds of a swan spreading it’s wings) She makes a quick but strong movement with her arms and the single “parts” of her fans dissolve from the handle. Now the parts, which look like feathers fly straight to her enemy and pierce their entire body. First the victim doesn’t feel nothing while this, but when Noako says “break!” the feathers break every bone they touched. Noako herself describes this attack as pretty yet horrible. Also she won’t use this attack often, because it reminds when she had the nickname “boner breaker”.

Bankai: not archived yet

Reiatsu color: violet colored

Inner world: Noako’s inner world looks like a round, clear lake, surrounded by a forest. There is always a white swan swimming on the lake. Normally Noako can walk on the water, but when she has an emotional breakdown, she goes under.
